No Box Knockout (Weekend 1)

The No Box Knockout Series is part of the Kentucky Dragway season points program. Racers earn points throughout the season with the opportunity to qualify for Team Kentucky Dragway and IHRA championship events.

Points Format
Points are awarded during each No Box Knockout event:

• First Round: Show-up points awarded
• Each Round Won: Additional points earned
• Year-End Ties: Determined by a runoff race

Classes Eligible for Points
Points are tracked for racers competing in the following classes:

• Modified
• Sportsman
• Jr. Dragster

Jr. Dragster racers will compete for a points fund with an additional $100 added to the cash fund, donated by Jerry Malone.

2026 Points Membership

A Kentucky Dragway Points Membership is required to participate in the points program.

This membership is separate from IHRA membership.

Membership Pricing

• $100 — Before April 1
• $150 — After April 2

• Participation in the Kentucky Dragway Points Championship
• Eligibility for Team Kentucky Dragway
• Tracking and coordination with IHRA racer registration
• Eligibility for IHRA Bracket Finals
• Eligibility for IHRA World Finals in Memphis

2026 Team Kentucky Dragway
IHRA Bracket & World Finals Eligibility

Racers wishing to qualify for Team Kentucky Dragway and the IHRA Bracket Finals must meet the following requirements:

• Hold an active Kentucky Dragway Points Membership
• Be registered with IHRA
• Compete in a minimum of three (3) 2026 points events

IHRA World Finals Qualification
The highest points finisher in each class may qualify for IHRA championship competition based on:

• When they registered with IHRA
• When they joined the Kentucky Dragway Membership Program

Important:
Kentucky Dragway must be listed as your Home Track with IHRA.

Qualified racers will represent Kentucky Dragway while competing against the top racers from across the IHRA region at the Bracket Finals, with opportunities to advance to the IHRA World Finals in Memphis.
